Hello, I'm working on a design with multiple power rails and would like to use the fewest number of different parts that I can. I have some loads that are 0.5A and some that are 3A.
What is the difference between the LMR33610 and the LMR33630?
The LMR33630 datasheet specifies the high side MOSFET ON-resistance (section 7.5) but these values are not in the LMR33610 datasheet.
If I use the LMR33630 parts at low loads, how much of an efficiency hit will I take?
Here are the rails I need to support. Input voltage range is 8V-28V:
3.3V, 3A (currently designed in LMR33630ADDA)
5V, 3A (currently designed in LMR33630ADDA)
3.3V, 0.5A (should I use LMR33610 or LMR33630?)
4.0V, 2A (currently designed in LMR33630A)
I also have one more power rail but this one has input voltage 14.5V - 15.5V:
5V, 0.5A (should I use LMR33610 or LMR33630?)
For the lower current rails I was going to use the new LMR36506 but the package is too fine pitch for this application and the part is not yet readily available.
What do you recommend? I'm trying to strike a balance between optimal efficiency and fewest number of parts.
