BQ25883: DCP current limit looks high

Why BQ25883 sets the current limit (IINDPM) to 3.0A when he detects DCP charger on the USB? According to the documentation mentions about DCP, the current limit is up to 1.5A for example:

Hi Kazuto,

The BQ25883 sets IINDPM for USB-DCP detected adapters to 3.0A in order to accommodate some higher current adapters. At the same time, it automatically performs its Input Current Optimization (ICO) feature in order to determine the adapter's maximum output current capability and then resets the IINDPM register to that lower value.
