BQ35100：BQ35100 calibration

Hi, 

1.System used BQ35100 which follow reference design.And BQ35100 TRM suggested load current is 1000mA for current calibration,but system max current is 500mA,Whether the load current can be reduced?If yes,please help to suggested load current.

2.There have two methods to calibration BQ35100,Is there any difference in the values written to the other registers(which except the register shown in below figure)

    1.Use Battery Management Studio software

    2.Uesd the mothods mentioned in document SLUA665,detail shown in below figure

    Hello,

    The current you use for calibration should be at or higher than your application rate. Since currents can vary so much the senseR value might be different than the recommended. 

    The ADC range for the bq35100 is -0.125V to 0.125V so depending on your senseR you will want to exercise as much of the full range as possible.
