Hi team,

A customer use BQ76940 for E-bike. Some BQ76940 is broken when it connect to the battery. VC11 and VC10 was shorted.

When BQ76940 didn't download software, all the data is default. BQ76940 has a high failure rate.

Is BQ76940 have power sequence? Any document described this requirement? Here is the cell balancing circuit：

Hi Songzhen,

The document noted shows various issues which can occur. Sequencing the power can help avoid potentially damaging voltages.

Be sure the wrong voltage can not contact the board terminals during assembly.
