TPS53681: Pull-up & Pull-down resistors of TPS53681

Part Number: TPS53681
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS53659
  1. If below pull-up on TPS53659/22A should be 0ohm or 10k?

  1. In TPS53659 macro design, the EN series resistors are put on left side of pull-down resistors, but this will form a divider with pull-down res. I just moved them to right side of EN pull-down res. Would you pls check if any concern from your side? Is there a recommended value for the series res now

  • Hi Shenhua,

    1. 0ohm or 10kohm is fine, you can just connect CSPx to 3.3V(the same voltage as pin16 to disable phases). For example, pull high ACSP3 to set 2ph max, or pull high ACSP4 to set 3ph max, it is no need to pull high every pin.

    2. No concern, as long as EN voltage is above VEH_H threshold, it should be fine.

    Thanks
