BQ34Z100: Which chip to work best with iron phosphate batteries?

Hi Folks,

I see contradictory advice as to which chip will work best as fuel gauges with LiFePO4 batteries - BQ34Z100 or the BQ34Z100-G1.  Our application will use a 8S4P pack that is non-removable.  Which one would you pick?
