BQ79616-Q1: BQ79616-Q1 and BA76PL455A Application related issues

Part Number: BQ79616-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ79616

Can bq79616-q1 and ba76pl455a be used as described below?

Our current application is daisy chain communication in the board, and then the can communication transmission is still between the acquisition board and the main board, so we will add a low-voltage area on the acquisition board to communicate with the main board.            So I want to ask, if we use the daisy chain of the board directly to communicate between the boards, it should also be possible, so that there is no need for low-pressure area on the acquisition board.            But the problem is the stability and immunity of the daisy chain between boards. If there are 10 slave boards and one motherboard, is it not OK to use daisy chain between boards?            Or what can we do to solve the problem of daisy chain communication?            Can you explain it in terms of principle

  • Hello Piero,

76PL455 is data pass through daisy chain and so is recommended to adopt centralized daisy chain

which means all devices can be daisy chained but in one board.

79616 is reclocking daisy chain and can adopt distributed daisy chain which means devices are not in the same board, and

79616 can support cap isolation and transformer isolation.

Please contact your local TI representative to get application note of bq79616.

    Thanks!

    Andy
