Hello,

According to section 14.4.8.2 of the TRM manual for the TPS65930, the charge pump can supply up to 100mA when the VBAT voltage is above 3V. The output is reduced to 50mA when the battery voltage is 2.7V – 3V.

I have ensured in the input voltage is above 3V (3.3V) yet I cannot get above 50mA of current to flow from this pin.

According to the register description of OTG_CTRL in table 14-35 of the TRM manual for the TPS65930, the charge pump is enabled by setting the DRVVBUS bit.

I have ensured this bit is set.

Hi Nick,

Can you measure the charge pump output?

If VBAT, CP is all good then it is strange that you do not see 100mA. How are you measuring this - current probe?

I solved the problem: a 10ohm series resistor where there should be none. Population option error.
