BQ77905: Battery charge display

Hello Team,

My customer is using the BQ77905 for a 12V project.

During their tests, they got regular feedback that the 12V battery doesn't show remaining charge through LEDs. Instead the customer has to plug the battery into a tool to see the charge.

Do we have something similar to the BQ77905. The customer is planning to add 3 to 4 LEDs to indicate available charge.

Hi Needhu,
Primary protectors like BQ77905 do not report the state of charge. To calculate and report the state of charge without adding a MCU, you can look at a gauge like BQ4050 or BQ40z50-R1. They both support LED display of SOC.
