BQ34110: please consult for more than one temperature sensor acquisition problem!

The 20 string battery BMS system uses two bq76930 as the front AEF and bq34110 as the current acquisition and capacity algorithm. Now the problem is that only one channel of temperature acquisition is supported inside the chip. For the multi string battery system, multiple channels of temperature acquisition are needed to do corresponding stability protection and capacity temperature compensation algorithm. The figure below is the chip system diagram

Is it true that one way of sampling temperature acquisition is directly connected to bq34110 for temperature protection and temperature compensation, and the remaining multi-channel temperature acquisition is connected to system temperature protection for temperature protection only.

    You will have decide the location of the one temp sensor  that reflect the comprehensive or max temp of the 20 cells. The temp is used for compensation in the gauging algorithm, but the gauge itself doesn't have temp protection capability. The temp measured by the gauge can be read by host and used to make decisions related to protection.

    It's not clear what help you are requesting. Please explain what you are trying to do.

    1. Are you using some other devices to acquire the temp data?
    2. Are you trying to put the data on pin 11 of BQ34110?

    Sorry you need one 10k NTC and pick the optimum location in the pack to have BQ34110 to measure the temperature. We can't acquire temperature at multiple locations with BQ34110 unless you have some external switches to cycle through 10 different NTCs. This would be risky due to inability to synchronize with BQ34110 temperature measurement once every second because you don't want to switch during the temperature measurement, which can lead to unintended consequences to gauging accuracy.
