Hello,
I would like to have a way to test our production PCBA without using a physical battery.
Is there a way to do a fake battery for QC test purpose only, and include this circuit into our test fixture.
I would like to power the PCBA by the fake battery and verify if the charger is working.
Having a real battery is complicated to protected it against PCB short-circuit and have a long term reliability.
I did this in the past to test a battery charger IC circuit. Use a 2Ohm resistor to test the charger and supply 3.8v in the battery IC input. 1KOhm PIN 2 emulate the NTC resistor.
Any advice ??
best regards,
Martin
