Hello,
I and a friend of mine watched your “Analog eLab Videocast Series - How to Connect Multiple LEDs” video yesterday on your TI web site. First of all I would like to tell you that you talked about very important and good subject on the video. Maybe, most of people who are taking care of LED design are wondering these LED installation methods very much. I am currently working on a LED project (such as ligthed advertisement tables). We also would like to thank to Mr.Miller very much from Texas Instruments for his valuable comments. I have an important question about this subject, if you can reply that I will be very happy;
On the video, it is decided that “single series string” is more efficient solution for a LED communication stage. I am also agreed with that. I would like to know that which one is more convenient for your opinion on the figures (Figure1 or Figure2). Which one should I use if we think about LED lifetime and efficiency? As you can see on the pictures, I want to use “constant voltage power supply” instead of “constant current power supply” and Leds will be 20mA. Which solution would you prefer?
I would like to thank you very much in advanced for your helps,
Regards.
