TPS23861: How to fix TPS23861 in 802.3af（15W）mode？

Due to PCB space limitation，we can only use 802.3af complaint Ethernet transformer, how to fix TPS23861 in 802.3af（15W）mode?

Is there a hardware method such as pin strap to fix it?

Hi User,

Unfortunately, the TPS23861 must be driven by a microcontroller to do 15W and cannot do it with automode. The only way to make it work with the TPS23861 is if you know the end user will always connect to a Type 1 PD.
