Q: What is the SNR on the ADC?
A: Dynamic range of ADC is 90dB
Q: What is the oversampling rate?
A: Oversampling ratio = 80 for Audio application, and 125 for Voice application
Q: Does this device has Automatic Gain Control?
A: This device has Automatic Level Control - control the gain of the microphone amplifier to increase gain if input signal is extremely low. As results, at the end of the A/D path, the signal level can keep constant even-if the input signal amplitude varies.
Q: Any low power modes specific to audio? Do we have means of making the audio lower-power? Partially power off ?
A: There are no dedicated low power modes but only the required portions can be turned ON and others OFF. This will save power.
Q: Is there digital sidetone (assuming use of digital mics)?
A: There is no real sidetone for digital microphone. We can use the loopback path in the audio mode for this. This is the digital loopback from uplink audio filters to the downlink audio filters.
Q: Can the ADC input be fed into the DAC output?
A: ADC input can be fed to DAC output. This is the FM loop back path
Q: What is the SNR on the DAC?
A: Dynamic range of DAC is 95dB
