Hello there,
I forgot the password of the bq78pl116 chip I used in my project.
When I want to connect with usb to gpio adapter and bqwizard3 program, it requests password.
I want to reset the chip and use it again or find the password.
which software and adapter should I use? or should I throw the chip in the trash?
can you help me?

First of all, I would suggest you NOT use this device for newer designs. You will not be able to get proper technical support because it is a very old device and most of the engineers that worked with it are no longer at TI. The device is still in production, just to support existing designs but that doesn't mean it is recommended for new designs.

What do you mean by "password"? The unseal key?

I had created a password by following the instructions in the image above. but now i can't remember.

I want to reset the chip and use it again.

When I connect with usb to gpio adapter and bqwizard 3 program it requests password. so I can't intervene.

Unfortunately, there is no back door for the device and we cannot open your device. The device will have to be replaced if you do not know the password.
