BQ25606: /PG response time

Part Number: BQ25606

Hello expert,

In datasheet, /PG response time is around 800ms for charge disable, may I know what is the deglitch time spec on datasheet? Do we have charge enable /PG signal for it? And also, customer would like to know if we can adjust it? Thanks a lot!!

Best regards,

Ann Lien

  • Ann,

Referring to the d/s 8.3.2 Power Up from Input Source, When an input source is plugged in, the device checks the input source voltage to turn on REGN LDO and all the bias circuits. It detects and sets the input current limit before the buck converter is started. The power up sequence from input source is as listed:

    1. Power Up REGN LDO

    2. Poor Source Qualification

    3. Input Source Type Detection is based on D+/D– to set input current limit (IINDPM), then /PG pin goes low.

    4. Input Voltage Limit Threshold Setting (VINDPM threshold)

    5. Converter Power-up

So /PG timing is dependent on the input source type and its detection time. It is not adjustable externally.

    Thanks,

    Ning
