Hi,
According to startup diagram in the datasheet, we expcect TPS65132S VNEG output startup should be one step for its output level, but we found there are 2 steps for output.
Could you please confirm this is normal?
Thanks and Best regards,
Tiger

Hi Tiger,
The step plateau in VNEG seems to more than 400ms and this is not normal. Is there a heavy load on VNEG during startup? Initially, the current on VNEG is limited to 40mA or 80mA depending on the APPS bit in the device register. Only after VPOS/VNEG are in regulation is higher current limit of 150mA released for TPS65132S. So I am thinking that there is likely heavy load on VNEG during this startup that is causing the step.
Kind Regards,
Liaqat
Thanks for reply, Liaqat.
The part is TPS65132S, and will ask to check loading when startup.
If any update, will post here.
