Hello, 


may i ask what is Nominal Zero-Bias Boost Inductance in the formula for the Rsyn ? 

And how Rsyn is calculated in UCC28070 Design Excel Tool ?

    Hello ,

    The UCC28070 needs to calculate the downslope of the inductor current from the FET drain current (CSA and CSB)

    It does this by peak charging an internal capacitor and discharging this capacitor at a discharge current programmed by the Rsyn resistor.
    When the gate drive turns off , this capacitor dischargesand the voltage across the capacitor emulates the boost diode current.
    The calculator uses the Rsyn equation in the data sheet.

    You can measure Lb with  a small signal inductance meter or request the value from the supplier.

    Thanks for the answer, but i still cant understand what is this parameter. Is this some parameter of the boost inductor ?
