TPS2662: Layout example for 4 layer PCB

Hello experts,

Could you tell me recommended PCB layout for 4 layer case?

In datasheet, there is only example for 2 layer case.

These example are acceptable?

L1 : RTN plane

L2 : RTN plane

L3 : Vcc

L4 : GND

I would appreciate if you would give me advice.

Hi Ryo Akashi,

I would suggest to use split planes (RTN, POWER GND) in TOP (L1) and BOTTOM (L4) layers like the 2-layer example in the datasheet. Use RTN plane for layer L2 and GND plane for layer L3.
