BQ76920: What is the leakage current for BAT and REGSRC on BQ76920?

Part Number: BQ76920

HI,

May I know what is the leakage current spec on BAT and REGSRC pin for BQ7692003?

Looking at the Top 10 considerations doc, BAT pin’s architecture looks very similar to VC5X, could we assume that BAT pin has the same leakage currents as VC5X?

Is the ship mode current, Iship as specified in the data sheet?

Thanks,

Christina

  • Hi Christina,

BAT and REGSRC are power pins and have supply currents rather than leakage currents.  ISHIP is the sum of the current into REGSRC and BAT pins during ship mode.  Since the part is shutdown except the boot detector, most of that current will be supply current for BAT with the REGSRC current being a smaller portion of the specified current.

Current in VC5X will be influenced by the upper group, operation mode and other architecture features.
