I asked a question about BQ28Z610 I2C slave address in below page and got the answer: 0x0b (7-bit).

However, we heard different information from the battery pack vendor. He said that "the BQ28Z610 uses a series of 2-bytestandard I2C commands with a 7-bit device address of 0x55 (8 bits = 0xAA to write and 0xAB to read)."

Can anyone confirm which answer is correct?

Hello Tom,

Yes, 0x55 for 7-bit and 0xAA and 0xAB for R/W. You can also confirm this via a scope capture or logic analyzer.

The easiest way is to check the DashBoard in the bqStudio. See the screenshot below.

The 8-bit i2c address of bq28z610 is highlighted below, which is 0xAA.
