HI Guys
Datasheets suggests using larger capacitor, If a design needs to incorporate only class 1 capacitors, would the stability of the REF2940 output be greatly affected if a 10 nF capacitor used at the output?
Thanks
Rodney

Hi Rodney,
The REF2940 is stable with no capacitor up to a low-ESR capacitance of 10 μF or less. The low-esr is typically reserved for ceramic capacitors.
A 10nf can be used at the output. There is no requirement to use a larger capacitor.
