BQ28Z610: 2S1P Calibration

Part Number: BQ28Z610
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hello,

Quick question about calibrating this gauge with a 2S1P configuration.

In bqStudio, the 3 input parameters for Voltage calibration are "Applied Cell 1 Voltage", "Applied Battery Voltage", and "Applied Pack Voltage". This seems like it is asking for Vcell1 (VC1 to VSS), VBat (VC2 to VSS), and VPack (PACK to VSS). However, in the instructional video on TI.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQAiQ0MvfWk, instead of VBat, Vcell 2 (VC2 to VC1) is used in the "Applied Battery Voltage" field. Is this correct?

In the EVM User Guide, it is also confusing:

My understanding is that Bat- is 1N, not 2N. And it looks like that is reflected here:

Can I please get some clarification?

Thanks,

Michael
