Hi. We are Hardware Engineers and we would like to use an IC that you provided. We decided to use BQ27426 in our project, it has suitable package dimentions. So, we faced technical difficulties in implementation to our PCB, to implement central GND pin and that fact increases the final price of the our device.
Could you recommend IC's from gasgauge family that are package-frendly and with similar parameters and functions.
So, the main ones is:
- support: one-cell lithium-ion, 4.2V
- battery capacity: 100mA ...500mA
- interface: preferably I2C bus

    Hi Serghei,

    I am assuming your project is placing the gauge on the system PCB instead of inside the battery pack. Have you considered BQ27421-G1? It also has a central GND pin (B2) but can use C1 has a bridge to connect the device ground to the board ground plane (described on page 4 of datasheet). Another benefit is that it has the same package and similar parameters/functions.
