Hi Team，

Could you please explain what can cause our gas gauge report IFC PF =1？

I see the TRM explain： The device can permanently disable the battery if it detects a difference between the stored IF checksum and the calculated IF checksum only following a device reset.

But could you please explain what operation will cause the difference between the stored IF checksum？

    Hi Eason,

    As fas as I know, the cause of the IFC PF is most likely that the instruction flash is corrupted.  I suggest you dumped a srec file and compare its instruction flash with the instruction flash of a default srec file.
