Then when we try to test another unit, BQ studio cannot detects the BQ.
We tried in four different EV2400 kit, have the same exact problem.

I found this (below mentioned link) on the forum, Matt suggested some steps to detects the EV kit is damaged or not.
I tried to read the word (0x0d), it returns error. Same as mentioned in the following link.

Can anyone help me sort this out.

  • EVM is powered up. UUT(Unit Under Test) is also powered up with 3.7V/cell, have the wakeup connected between B+ and P+.
VBAT and VPACK have the same voltage.
PC can detect the EV2400 USB in the device manager.
    EV is updated with v28.

  • Did the BQ40z50 device connect to any battery pack?  Did you do anything to wake up bq40z50? For example,  we have a wake button on the bq40z50EVM.  It is necessary to press the button to wake up the bq40z0 from shutdown when the battery pack is connected.

In addition, try connecting the SYS PRESS on the J3 terminal block to PACK-.
