Hi,

Please review that this TPS51200 can VOUT= 0.675V.

If I connect the VREFIN (with 10K PU/PD)= 1.35V and VLDOIN= 1.35V in the attached:

HI Shay,

It is suggest to connect PGOOD pin to 3.3V via pull-up resistor, even PGOOD signal is not used int the system.

All other looks fine.

About the PGOOD pin, I didn't understand why?

PGOOD pin it's open drain output.

Hi Shay,

PGOOD is open drain pin.

If the pin is floating, the noise could coupled to the pin may damage the pin in severe condition.

In many of the answers in E2E I see that you can keep PGOOD floating, how is this PGOOD pin of TPS51200 is different from the rest?

Hello,

Theoretically the open drain pin could be damaged by noise if the pin is floating, though the risk is low.

Different engineers have different judgement on the risk.

If you do want to float the pin, it is fine. Take your own risk.

Btw, another solution is to ground the pin.
