Where did you see Figure 10? I would suggest you download the latest bq27220EVM user's guide from ti.com.

The schematic in your datasheet is wrong, right? That is why I designed the circuit based on that does not work

Hi Jack,

Let me provide more details. BQ27220 can be used as a pack-side gauge or system-side gauge.

The simplified schematic on Page 1 of the bq27220 datasheet is for the system-side configuration, while Figure 10 is for a pack-side application. They are both correct.

If you are looking for a system-side configuration, the schematic in the bq27220 EVM user's guide is what you need.
