TPS54821: How to get the bode plot using TINA-TI

Hi team,

Customer is evaluating TPS54821 but the output seems to be oscillating. So they want to confirm the stability by the bode plot.

And they are trying to use TINA-TI to get the bode plot. The attached is their schematic. example.TSC

They run the AC transfer function but this doesn't work.

Could you give any advice to get the correct bode plot?

Hi,

For the customer schematic "example", when I run the AC, it doesn't work too. I did some changes but it also doesn't work.

But when I change the model from customer's to TPS54821 AVERAGE MODEL, it works.

So please recommend customer to download the simulation model "TPS54821 TINA-TI Average Reference Design" from TI.com.

Hi Lishang,

TPS54821 AVERAGE MODEL doesn't have boot-pin. Do you think the pin doesn't affect the bode plot?

The stability analysis is the purpose of customer.
