TPS54360: Vin and SW are shorted to GND

Hi Team,

My customer now use TPS54360 in RTM project. And found three machines have problems. They found three machines's Vin and SW shorted to GND...

May I ask what situation will make Vin and SW short to GND?

    Hi,

    If your customer tested them on the board and every component is not damaged, SW is connected to GND with a inductor so it's no problem as it seen as shorted because the inductor is just a coil of wire. However, Vin should not seen as shorted to GND, you can move the device off the board then test the board and device pins separately.
