Hi Support team 

My current connection is to connect the unused VC to ground 
but the D/S shows that the unused VC to VDD
Can I make such a connection?

    Hi Red,

    The part can detect any input over voltage.  The recommendation is to use the lower cells as shown in the data sheet.  If the customer has tested thoroughly and performance is as expected it should be good.
