TPS25942A: Decreasing Cout

Hi team,

Could you advise the reason why the Cout is 100uF in the typical application of the datasheet ?

Customer would like to put Cout = 10uF or 0.1uF to reduce inrush current.

Are there any concern for the decrease the value of Cout ?

Hi Michiaki,

There is no limitation to the Cout value for TPS25942A (or in fact any other efuse).

The typical application in the datasheet is just an example and practically you can use any value of Cout.
