Hello,

This is Sreenath, and I am troubling a lot in finding a better Integrated Booster for my project. Actually I am designing a Circuit where i need Integrated Boost Converter that can convert 3.7V(18650 - Li-On) battery and give me a Output of 15V 3Amps.

My Needs -

Minimum Input Voltage - 3.3V

Maximum Input Voltage - 4.2V

Minimum Output Voltage - 13V

Maximum Output Voltage - 16V

Maximum Output Current - 3Amps

My ambient temperature here is 30C, So I want the temperature of the circuit to be around 50C to 60C.

I am not interested in using any external switch like MOSFET.

Hello mam,

I basically have a question and that is, Can I place two Tps61088 circuit in series to get the 16v 2Amps?

Meaning the first Tps61088 would Convert 9V 2Amps from 3.7V Li-On battery. And the Second Tps61088 that would convert the 9V coming out from the First IC and converting it Back again to 15 or 16V at 2 Amps? Is it possible ?

And the other thing is that will it generate heat as I would in using this in a Audio Amplifier, where the entire PCB would in inside a sealed speaker box.

Dear Sir,

The answer is No. Because the Vout pin can only withstand 12.6V maximum.

I was wondering if you could help me provide a diagram for a boost convert that can convert 3.7v to 15v or 16v at max 2Amp output, and the temperature for that wouldn't rise beyond 40°C. Means I want an efficient, cooler diagram.

Please help me maam, I have been really search a lot in this matter and couldn't find a solution.
