BQ35100: can i use same chemistry id data of LS14500 for battery pack (of 2 LS14500 pack in parallel configuration) in EOS mode?

HI,

I have checked that in latest chemistry id folder the chemistry id of LS14500 is available.But in our product we are using battery pack (consisting 2 LS14500 pack in parallel configuration) to power device.as this is primary battery we can use EOS mode only.So can i use same chemistry id 623 with capcity value doubled(5300mAH)? so with same chemistryid data only capacity data changed is EOS mode algorithm work properly?

Hello Karan,

It should work the same in principle. However, you may want to consider scaling the resistance by 2x down. Two cells in parallel should decrease the resistance by half.
