BQ24040: battery reverse polarity

Hi,

Do you have solution or alternative for battery reverse polarity protection for chargers? I am currently using BQ24040 and found this advise on one of the threads, http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva139/slva139.pdf.

But its only for the battery and load and not the combination of charger, battery and load.

Hi Emman,

Are you look for reverse polarity protection on input of BQ24040? Recommend looking into some of our ideal diode controllers like LM74700-Q1.

Can you share what your current solution looks like?
