Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61170, LM2611
Hello Team
I want to use TPS65130 Positive and Negative Output DC-DC Converter. So can you tell us what is max ripple voltage and noise of this device.
Thanks
Mitesh

Hello Mitesh,
I believe our local FAE Vikas had also contacted me about this query and I had responded to him. I believe he has responded to you but please let me know if you have not heard from Vikas.

Hello Team,
Yes, Vikas responded me regarding TPS65130 max ripple voltage is 20mV and also suggest other Positive and Negative Supply DC to DC converter, for Negative supply DC to DC converter LM2611 is ok with my application but for Positive supply TPS61170 i cannot get with this. in that datasheet still im not get max ripple and noise of this device.
We required Positive and Negative DC to DC converter with Output range of (+15V and -15V) and its adjustable and its max ripple is 10mV.
Kindly suggest DC to DC converter as per my requirement.
Thanks to TI team
Mitesh
Hello Mitish,
Figure 24 in the datasheet of TPS61170 shows ripple of approx. 120mV. So this is very much out of your required specification. Normally, DC-DC converter don't provide an integrated or spot noise specifications because they are not geard toward low noise applications, hence no noise specification in the datasheet. If your application requires very now noise and ripple, a DC-DC converter followed by a LDO may be the solution to consider. I searched few other solution on ti.com but could find anything that would meet your low noise and ripple requirements.
Kind Regards,
