Hello,

For TLC59116 the global shutdown threshold temperature is approximately 170°C. What is the value for Tj,trip = Trip junction temperature for each channel?

Hi Kajal,

All thermal information was contained at datasheet section 7.4. You could calculate channels temp by multiplying output current, output voltage and Junction-to-ambient thermal resistance.

How do we set each channel threshold temperature? Is there any register settings need to do, if yes then what are the registers?

Hi Kajal,

The threshold is for whole IC internal temperature. There is no setting for each channel. If your concern temperature on channels, you could insert resistor in series between LED and output pin to dissipate the excess power and reduce the thermal conditions on the driver.
