Hi Team,
Just want to confirm that whether 25145 could support 15-32 Vin 12Vout and 400W output power.

Hi Team,

Hi Amelie,
12/33A is feasible from a single-phase controller standpoint. I recommend using 40V NexFETs. However, if the ambient temperature is high, I recommend the LM5143-Q1 two-phase solution for better thermal distribution. Both controllers have associated quickstart calculator files that you can use to assist with component selection, check efficiency and power losses, bode plot, etc. The files are available in the respective product folders.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your reply.
I get more information from customer. They would like to choose a chip to convert 24Vin to 12Vout.
Because Truck system is 24V but Trailer is 12V. It needs to convert. And Trailer output power is 400W...
Do you have better recommendation about 24V to 12V (400W)?
Thanks!
Hi Amelie,
Depending on the Vin-max and whether Q grade is required, other options include the LM25141-Q1 with Vin-max = 42V and the LM5141-Q1 with Vin-max = 65V. These controllers have lower quiescent current than the LM(2)5145 and LM5146-Q1 and are also available in commercial grade.

Tim
