Hi,
I'm having some issues with the charger detection for BQ25890. Specifically when im trying to connect to a CDP port. BQ25890 has the PIN DSEL which is intended to control a MUX. During the charger detection BQ25890 takes over the datalines of the USB to determine what it is connected to. Depending on what it is connected to it shall then release the datalines back.
The issue that im seeing is that when im connecting to a CDP the DSEL remains low and thus does not release the datalines. This is not the behaviour stated in the datasheet. I have done the exact same test with the evaluation kit and i get the same result there.
Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround for this? Have i missinterpreted the behaviour of this pin?
I have seen this exact question in the forum but it was never answered.
