BQ40Z80: problems with learning cycle

hi,

We have problem with bq40z80 Impedance tracking.

Despite following SLUA848 - "How to Complete a Successful Learning Cycle for the bq40z80", we cannot get Qmax updated, so LStatus() is still 0x04.

We have performed already 3 charge/discharge cycles.

The Ra tables also aren't updating.

Can you suggest what could be the problem?

I can provide Data Memory export in pvt.

Hi Vincenzo,

How did your customer select the chemistry id? Did they use the GPCCHEM to find the best matching id?

I have got your gg file. However, the gg doesn't contain the chemistry id.

hi Andy,

problem solved: the issue was the old firmware in the bq40z80.

After updating the firmware to newer version gauging seems to work fine.
