UCD3138: PSFB question with DPWM0B and DPWM1B

Part Number: UCD3138

Hi Experts,

I want use PSFB to implement DPWM1B turn on when both DPWM3B and DPWM2B on.

DPWM0B turn on when both DPWM3A and DPWM2A on.

Please see the timing as below,

How can I set the DPWM?

Thanks!

  • I'm not sure what you're asking.  If you want literally 3A and 2A, that is about the same as 0B, which you already have.

    You have two red lines added, but they are on 2A and 2B, and it's not clear which one turns on and which one turns off.

    Also, do you want a dead time anywhere, or do you want it to be exactly synchronous with the edges?

    It would help a lot if you could just draw on another waveform to show what you want.

  • Hi Ian,

    I need a signal turning on by DPWM0B when both of DPWM2A and DPWM3A are turning on (as the green line), another signal turning on by DPWM1B when both of DPWM2B and DPWM3B are turning on. (as the red line)

    It will be used with PSFB.

    Please see the timing as below,

    DPWM0B = DPWM3A & DPWM2A

    DPWM1B = DPWM3B & DPWM2B

    I need deadtime to be exactly synchronous with the edges.

    How do I set the DPWM with DPWM1B and DPWM0B?

    Thanks!

  • I believe it's already set up for you, except for the dead time.  If you can send me a personal message with your email, I can send you a preliminary document on the PSFB that will give you some more guidance on setting the dead times.

  • I'm going to close this one since I haven't heard from you.
