Hi
I have question for PVINx of TPS6508640.
Typically, PVINx should be connected to V5ANA.
While in TPS6508640 example, PVIN3-5 is supplied from BUCK1 (3.3V).
Regarding to TPS6508640 design, PVIN3, 4, 5 can be supplied from BUCK1?
BestRegards

As long as V5ANA is supplied from BUCK1.
Hi Kevin
Thank you for your reply.
1.
>As long as V5ANA is supplied from BUCK1.
If V5ANA is supplied from BUCK1, PVIN3-5 can be connected to BUCK1 like Figure 6-3. Is it correct?
(V5ANA = BUCK1 (3.3V) = PVIN3-5 can be allowed?)
2.
In chapter 7.4 Do's and Don'ts, the following is mentioned.
- Do not connect the V5ANA power input to a different source other than PVINx. A mismatch here
causes reference circuits to regulate incorrectly.
Figure 6-3 shows BUCK1 is supplied to the peripherals.
Is it possible to supplying BUCK1 out to V5ANA and PVIN3-5 in the case of Figure 6-3?
BestRegards
