Dear TI guys,

I am facing similar issue. When I connect the board, it does not get automatically recognised.

1. I have latest version of BQ studio.

2. When i open BQ studio, it shows connected device as : 4800_0_04. I choose, nearest device 4800_0_02 and it works as shown.

3. But, if i try updating chemistry, it shows error "1703".

4. There is only one SW available on your website for BQ40z80, which I already uploaded on my HW.

5. Now how to update chemistry and how to run learning cycle.

Did you download the v0.004 firmware from the bq40z80 product folder?

I think, you mention this SW.

I already uploaded this SW and still the HW is not self-recognising. I need to choose 4800_0_02-bq40z80 from the gauges in BQ studio.

Regarding application note, I can not do the first step of choosing chemistry due to the same error "1703". .

You would also need to copy the v0.04 bqz file to the installation folder of bqStudio.
