Hello.

When I use the UCD3138, I often get reset-like behavior.

How responsive is the reset?

At what level of pulse does it get reset?

According to the data sheet, the response is 10 μs, but is there a possibility that it will respond with a pulse width of less than 1µs or 100 ns ?

What is the threshold voltage for reset?

Hello,

Besides a hardware reset that is triggered by the reset pin, there can be many other causes to reset.

This includes, software reset, accessing illegal address by firmware, excessive EMI noise and other reasons.

What is the project you are working on? Have your designed your own hardware/firmware?

What is the topology and the output power levels involved?

The first thing I want to know is the response of the reset pin (hardware reset).

Please tell me if the reset pin responds to a pulse of less than 10us (eg 1us or 100ns).

The relevant topology is PSFB (Phase Shifted Full Bridge), the output power level is about 2kW.

Yes, the reset pin will response to pulses shorter than 10 uS.

The 10 uS figure is the recommended minimum reset pulse width during power up.

If the supply voltage already ramped up and stable, even a 200 nS pulse will cause reset.

At about 2.5V the device will reset.
