Bq40z60 issues
I’m working on BQ40Z60-EVM

Within the advance algorithm configurations the charging current at all temperature conditions (LT, MT, SHT, Rec T) is set at 3000 mA with the maximum voltage in each of these charging temperatures set at 4100 mV. Ideally the EVM is supposed to charge with 3000mA but what is observed is initially the EVM takes current in the range of say 2500 mA and steadily as the time progresses the charging current increases and after (let say 10-15 mins) the charging current is at 2650 mA, but it never reaches 3000 mA. What is the reason for such an issue?

While charging a 4S pack it is observed that the cell 1 and cell 4 are showing signs of higher voltages while the cell 2 and 3 are showing lower voltages. For Ex: Cell 1, Cell 4 = 3900 mV while Cell 2, Cell 3 = 3700 mV. What might be the issue due to which this is happening. Note: Initially all the cells are at 3600 mV. Similarly while discharging the 4S pack, the cell 1 and cell 4 voltage droop down more as compared to cell 2 and cell 3 voltage. Is is common ? If not what might be the remedie.

The cell balancing is happening both at the charging as well as during discharging but only during rest. How to make sure that the cell balancing happens during the charging period. How can we know if a cell with higher SoC is getting some current through the bypass resistor.

By any means are there any option that allows us to set how much current can flow through the bypass resistors while cell balancing happens during charging?
Please check the gg.csv file provided as an attachment for the same
