TPS54527: possible for isolated design?

Hi,

My customer tried to use TPS54527 for a dual output design, one for isolated 6.6V output, and one for 3.3 non-isolated output. the input is 12V. please help to suggest if this device can be used in a design like this. if not, please kindly recommend other one-chip solution. thanks.

Thanks for reply. Do you think TPS54527 could also be used in this Flybuck topology. my customer used a lot of TPS54527, and this device can provide bigger current. thanks.

Hi Yue,

TPS54527 provides a large source current but not sink current while the Flybuck requires large sink current (negative current) capability to source the isolated side.
