TPS650864: Block Diagram Clarification

Hi,

The block diagram and the power map example from the TPS650864 datasheet indicate that LDO5 supplies power to some of the BUCK regulators.

Is this actually the case, or is LDO5 only supplying a small section while most of the power comes from Vin?

We are concerned about efficiency.

Hello,

LDO5 output is powering the controllers drivers, but the actual power FETs are supplied by VIN.

Additionally, as long as V5ANA is supplied with 5V, the output of LDO5 is just passing through V5ANA.
