LM5121-Q1: can i make make 500W 100V output flyback converter which input is 48V 9A?

Hello,

I want to make an isolated flyback converter using the LM5121-Q1 IC. I have a requirement of the output voltage of 100v and 4A DC and I have the input of 48v 9A from the solar panel, so I need help that can I make converter using this converter IC. also help me to suggest the input side and output side capacitor. Thank you

    Hi Kamal,

    Thank  you for reaching out.  You may, and I would like to see the LM5121-Q1 is used, but we do not recommend flyback topology for 500W.   Flyback is good for <100W.  500W would be too much and your solution would become bulky and costly vs taking another topology like half bridge or full bridge.
