Hi Praveen,
Sorry for the confusing expression.
I mean is it possible to enable and disable reverse protection?
Thanks and best regards,
Jamie
Hi Jamie,
Unfortunately, we cannot disable the reverse current protection of TPS25942L.
In case you need an efuse with out reverse current protection, you can consider using TPS2595. If you can explain in detail your system use case, I will be able to help you in suggesting a more suitable solution.
Hi Jamie,
Can you explain your system use case so that I will be able to help you better.
Hi Praveen,
Because I saw Reverse protection threshold at -3mV, -9.3mV, -15mV.
Currently BBU design discharge Max. current = 0.2A, If Rds on=42mOHM; V_reverse_i =-0.2*42m= -8.4mV.
It is bound to trigger reverse current protection.
Thanks and best regard,
Jamie
Hi Jamie,
Yes, In case 0.2A reverse current flows in the device, the device can cut off Input and Output.
