BQ28Z610: Dynamic Max Charging Current

Part Number: BQ28Z610
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24773

Hello,

I would like to use BQ28Z610 in broadcast mode and BQ24773 to dynamically set a max charge current based on system power state (system on or off).

I have another microcontroller on the same I2C bus.

Reading through the BQ28Z610's technical reference manual the only way I can see of doing this is having the microcontroller update the BQ28Z610's Standard Temp Charging - Current Low/Med/High registers to the max current I would like (using only standard temp as an example).

Is this a viable/the best way to dynamically update max charge currents?

Also - it seems the BQ28Z610's Rev A firmware zip file required for broadcast mode (SLUC653A.ZIP) is corrupted on the product page website.  Is it possible to email/message me this zip file?

Thanks for the help,

Kevin
